Krispy Kreme Tour

Our homeschool group was very excited to tour Krispy Kreme in Tulsa, Oklahoma recently.

The children lined up along side the windows with much donut anticipation! Before starting the tour, each of us put on our hat.

The entire facility was very clean and well kept – just right for making perfect donuts.

We saw how the flour, water, sugar and yeast were mixed and held. Then, after rising how the donuts are made in the automated production line.

Most students liked how the donuts flipped in the cooking conveyor and also the glazing waterfall.

One of the best parts of the tour was getting to decorate our very own personalized donut…even some parents participated…

We all enjoyed our tour of Krispy Kreme. Thank you to our great guides who helped us understand the steps is involved in donut-making!
