Membership Process for Joining
Broken Arrow CHEF
In order to join BA CHEF, you must complete the following steps:
1) You must first join the umbrella support group CHEF
by attending an orientation meeting and concur with the CHEF
of Oklahoma Constitution and Statement of Faith. Membership fee is
$24.
CHEF orientation meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month
at 7:00 p.m., at Martin East Regional Library, 2601 S. Garnett, Tulsa.
Dates and location are subject to change. Please contact the CHEF line
at 583-7323, or visit the website Membership
section of the CHEF website (www.chefok.org) for current information.
2) Upon completion of CHEF orientation and membership
bring the BA CHEF membership form to a Broken Arrow CHEF meeting (2nd
Tuesday of each month). The cost to join BA CHEF is $10.00.
3) Before your membership is complete, you must sign
up for a job. You can sign up for a job at the May and August meetings
on sign-up sheets—you must also place it on the membership form
in the appropriate blank. All other months, you must put it on the membership
form. Everyone in BA CHEF is expected to participate. The purpose is not
to “overwork” you but to help you get to know others on a
more personal level and minister together. The explanation of the various
jobs follows below.
4) Turn in your membership form with your check at a
BA CHEF monthly Ladies meeting and you are a member!!! Congratulations.
NOTE: You may attend three BA CHEF meetings before becoming an official
